Christian comedian Brad Stine Performing at New Life Church to benefit CCS!
Nationally-known Christian comedian Brad Stine is scheduled to perform at New Life Church on Friday, October 17th at 7:00 p.m. This is a free show that has been underwritten by a generous donation, and a love offering will be collected to benefit Coastal Christian School. Please support CCS by inviting your family, friends and neighbors to this fun (and free!) evening of comedy and laughter!
Brad Stine's act is appropriate for ages 10 and up -- childcare will be provided for infants and children through 4th grade. (Reservations are required for childcare, so if you'll need to save a spot, please call 489-3254, ext. 607).
Seating is limited at Brad Stine's concert, so please come by the school office at 1220 Farroll Road in Arroyo Grande to pick up tickets. You can also send us an email with your name, phone number, mailing address and the number of tickets you'll need. Hope to see you there!
Harvest Festival Parade First Day of School 2008
The CCS 'Conquerors' were a big hit at the Harvest Festival Parade on Saturday! The Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students did a great job marching and saluting as they walked down Branch Street. A big thank you to all of the students, teachers and parents who worked so hard to represent Coastal Christian School!
Coastal Christian School began its 2008-2009 school year on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Secondary classes started at 8:00 am, and Elementary classes started at 8:15 am. We hope everyone had a wonderful first day!
2008 Graduation
Our twelve seniors celebrated their graduation from Coastal Christian School at Grace Bible Church on June 13th. The graduates will continue their educations both locally and internationally — with one student traveling to Europe to continue her studies and do mission work with the Youth With A Mission organization.
The close-knit group has shared classes since elementary school. The seniors, four of whom had perfect 4.0 grade-point averages, received more than $10,000 in local scholarships.
